Bellabox March 2015 #HighlightMy...

Hey Pretties,

This box wasn't really a highlight box... But hey you can't get a great box everytime. Unfortunately this box tallied very close to the $15 paid for the subscription service so it was possibly the lowest value box I've ever received.

You'll See by the tally on the card. I've put brief comments on what I thought of each sample.

Xxx

Contents & value per item:

Overall contents:

Shampoo sachet and hair oil vial:
(Hair oil was not bad)

Foundation sachet & lip plump sachet: (never used)

Palmers skincare:
(Cleanser not especially effective, cream was ok but I would not purchase it)

Eye liner in emerald:

(Smooth formula, not particularly smudge proof or long wearing but the colour is nice)

So that's that!
Hopefully better next time!

What did you think of this box??

Lust Have It March 2015 Unboxing

Woo hoo! Lust Have It March 2015 is here! It's a bit delayed with it's arrival in May but it is worth the wait because it has one of my fave body brands included in the parcel. These delays seem to happen with lots of subscription companies but in the end the goodies arrive and it's always exciting to open one of these beauty discovery delights!

There was no iconic pink mesh bag this month- March Lust Have It came in this pop up cardboard pouch. I believe they will be back in parcels in the future.

The contents! There was no products card this time round but everything is pretty self explanatory.

Urban Skincare co Body Clesnser
Appelles Shampoo and Conditioner
Lonvitale Facial Sheet Mask
Uriage Cleansing Water and Moisturiser
Model Co BB Cream

All in all a pretty decent box. The BB makes up the cost of the Box so the $19.95 value is well and truly met.

My fave pick: the Urban skincare co body wash and the Appelles Shampoo and Conditioner. These products smell fantastic and are a pleasure to use!

Could do without: uriage products (but only because it's not suitable for my skin type)

Hopefully this gave you some insight as what you might receive from Lust Have it!

Hi Pretties!

The Lust Have It for Feb was good value contents wise with x4 full size and 1x deluxe sample item. It's that time of the year when our skins needs change and our colours choices need review.
The plum lip liner is perfect for moody  Winter palettes as the cooler weather approaches.

Cost to customers $19.95 awesome! Use my code if you are keen to try it out!

Highlight- concealer (And I liked the makeup but it was like mud 😔 so I bought the lighter shade at Priceline)
Lowlight- maybe the liquid liner, but not really- no low light this month!

Lust have it November December 2014 comparison Review

I found these pics in my phone and realised I never posted this particular months bags!

Sorry!!!
On the plus side you can see what back to back boxes are like and give you a guide of consistency and what to expect. These are November and December 2014 Lust Have It.

The card:

The products:

This box was a real highlight! I have really enjoyed the primer and the DB extender brow product- in fact I have received many compliments on my brows when using it have have highly recommended this brow product to several people! I love it! The bath salts were enjoyed and the masks - (why 2?) were also good. There were no dud products.

Box 2:

The products:

Another awesome box! No dud products! Amazing value with full size x2 masks, full size blush, full size illumizer.

These were two great back to back  subscription boxes!

Lust Have It January 2015 Unboxing

Hey Pretties!

This box was very late! Hence the late review.
The thing I think LHI do well is value for money however a little more thought it curation or theme could see the box improve.
Unfortunately this box is a bit of a mismatch of colours and is cosmetic heavy with only one skin product.

The card:

The contents:

Cosmetics:

Skincare:

Lusthaveit is undeniable value each month at only $19.95.
This month had x5 full size products and one body lotion deluxe sample. Really. Good. Value.
The Colour choices are a little off trend as we move into AW15 with neon orange nail polish and hot pink lip crayon but I guess if this arrived in high summer it would have worked well.

Highlight: for me it's the Urban Skincare co body lotion- I've had a variation of this before and it smelt heavenly and gave beautiful smooth results.

Lowlight: Marsk loose eyeshadow- I find loose products very messy- the hue is a purplish colour which unfortunately on my skin tone just makes me look like I've been punched in the face.

Good to know- LHI in my experience have often sent loose bronzers, powders, blushes etc

For me this box is amazing value only if you like the products- these products aren't particularly appealing to my current beauty routine needs but I do look forward to road testing them. The eyeliner is quite interesting and seems to be smudge proof.

Recommend subscribing to LHI? Despite this not being my fave edition, Yes.

Popbasic Alice Collection

I'm obsessed with a cute company called Popbasic!! They make a subscription box (without actual subscription) of micro collections featuring super beautiful basics with that little Pop of something special. For more info about Popbasic, see my 'what is popbasic' post.

I have just ordered the Amelie collection which I'm super excited about! In the meantime here's the Alice collection I recently received.

Popbasic campaign shots:

The collection contained a light and comfy jersey little black dress, a bracelet and a necklace.

Lust Have It October

Hi pretties!

Another month, another delightful beauty subscription box!

This month's Lust Have It is packed full of goodies! Of the 6 items 5 were full sized making it insanely good value at $19.95 per month!

Let's get started, I'll take you on an October box tour!

First impression:
Looks full of goodies and comes in the usual pink mesh bag- heaps handy!

Each month there's a product card outlining what's what:

The contents:

1 & 2 skincare:
Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse- 10 ml sample- rrp pro rata $4.99 ($24.95 for 50ml) dry oil for softening skin and helping stretch marks.

Montaigne Jeunesse glacial clay spa mask- full sized- rrp $4.99. I've tried many of their masks and they are all awesome!

3 4 & 5- colour products:
So Susan intense eye shadow- full sized- rrrp $35 . At $35 I would expect this compact to at least have a mirror?? Unfortunately I have dark circles so purple/blue eyeshadow isn't any good to me, I'll give it to a friend who suits these shades- I'm sure it will be enjoyed but for this reason I won't swatch it.

Colour by TBN lipstick in 'pout those lips girl'-full sized- rrp $3.50. Really pretty grape shade, velvety texture.

Inika organic black kohl pencil with built in sharpener- full sized- rrp $29. I quite the the control of a pencil liner. The built in sharpener is genius- I'm seemingly always using a blunt pencil despite having multiple sharpeners, this is right where you need it, when you need it.

6 lifestyle product:
Glamourflage eye mask- full sized- rrp $7.95. Because lusties are so damned glamorous and Devine that they need a leopard print eye mask in their lives!

Total value: $85.43

Total cost: $19.95

Highlight:  Inika eye pencil

Lowlight: So Susan eye shadow
